SGA campaign week and elections took place this week at SIS. All the students that participated worked very hard, took the election process seriously, and were worthy candidates.  First, they prepared speeches that presented their individual platforms for a panel of educators in the prelimary round. Then, they gave speeches to the student body and campaigned by hanging up posters and handing out stickers to their supporters to wear. The week culminated with the election today. The winners were announced at the end of the day. They are:

President, Brantlee Ahrens

Vice President, Cooper Williams

Secretary, Aubrey Driggers

Treasurer, Brody Bean.

A special thanks to Suwannee County Supervisor of Elections, Glenda Williams who supported the SIS election.
